Lori White http://ldwhiteart.com/

Lori started oil painting as a child, taking lessons from Isabel Hepler for several years. Lori balances her passion for art with her passion for environmental work. Having painted exclusively in oils in the past, she now uses both soft and oil pastels in her work, savoring the vibrant colors and immediacy of those media. Lori shows in two galleries in Raleigh, Local Color in Glenwood South and Visual Art Exchange in City Market. I also show regularly with the Durham Art Guild and the Pastel Society of North Carolina.

Steve Emory http://www.sjemery.com/aboutme.html

Whether it's the proportions of a face in a restaurant, the lines of a car passing on the highway, the spacing of trees along a fencerow, the shapes of clouds, the beauty for Steve it is primarily in the composition. And that's what he’s doing in his artwork. It's a long game he’s playing with outlines and colors and their relationships.
